This policy covers what we collect when you use trucka.io, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and a person will answer.

1. What we collect

We only collect what you give us and what standard web analytics pick up:

  • Form submissions. When you request a price, apply to drive, or join the app waitlist, we get the fields you fill in: your name, phone number, ZIP code, what needs moved or what you drive, and your consent to be contacted.
  • Campaign tags. If you arrive from an ad or a link with tracking tags (like utm_source), we attach those tags to your submission so we know which ads work.
  • Analytics. We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used: pages visited, rough location, device type. This is aggregate traffic data, not a profile of you.

We don't collect payment details on this site, and we don't buy data about you from anyone.

2. How we use it

Three things, and that's it:

  • To respond to your request: texting you a price, or walking you through driver vetting.
  • To match jobs with drivers in your area.
  • To improve the service, including figuring out which pages and ads actually help people.

3. Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. Ever. We share it in exactly these cases:

  • Service providers. Our CRM stores your submission so our team can text you back, and our analytics provider processes traffic data. These companies work for us and can't use your data for their own purposes.
  • Drivers. When a driver accepts your job, they get your contact info and the addresses for that job. Only for accepted jobs, and only what they need to show up.
  • Legal requirements. If the law requires it, we comply. We'd rather not, but we're not going to pretend otherwise.

4. How long we keep it

We keep form submissions as long as we need them to serve you and keep honest business records. If you ask us to delete your info, we delete it unless we're legally required to hold something, like records tied to a completed job.

5. Your choices

  • Stop the texts. Reply STOP to any text from us and they end.
  • Delete your info. Email us athelp@trucka.io and ask. We'll confirm when it's done.
  • Skip analytics. Browser tools and extensions that block analytics work fine on this site. We don't try to get around them.

6. Children

Trucka is not for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from minors, and if we learn we have, we delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change meaningfully affects how we handle your info, we'll say so plainly instead of burying it.
